Sew-on Leather Bar Wraps

Durable in the elements, warm to the touch, and grippier when wet, our natural leather is a performance material with a clean look and outstanding handfeel for bicycle bar wraps.

Like our other easy to sew on products, the Sew-on Bar Wraps come as a kit that you stitch on yourself with pre-punched stitching holes, needle, thread, and instructions.

The natural oils in your hands burnish    our high-quality American leather into a glossy patina that will last you a lifetime. You get to keep the patina you've earned: you can transfer it from bike to bike, and over the years it will only get more beautiful with use and time.

Fits drop bars, pursuit bars, bullhorns, or any other 1” (25.4mm) diameter bars.

Great quality product

Very pleased with quality and final look of wraps. Need for more detailed video instructions for install (not as easy as it looks), and a customer forum to deal with common issues. Also suggest adding a 2-width pattern to make it easier to wrap bars running brake housings underneath, and designing a leather cover to fit over rubber brake hoods (I think these would sell well in the vintage/custom market).

Good Product Great Customer Service

Walnut has excellent customer service. I had problems with a recent order of handlebar wraps -- the leather was tearing as I was tightening the stitching. Walnut replied quickly when I contacted them about the issue. They were completely understanding and eager to make things right. They went above and beyond to ensure that I received replacement wraps and had all the information I needed to install them without further issues. The whole encounter took less than a week, and every employee I encountered was super friendly and helpful.

These were much easier to sew on than I’d expected, and they look and feel amazing (especially paired with a dark brown Brooks saddle). I’m impressed!
