The UpCycle Cage is an adjustable-sized bicycle drink holder for multiple bottle sizes, handcrafted from recycled and natural materials.
This is the only water bottle cage ever designed with this level of flexibility. It can carry a 12oz coffee thermos, a curvy wine bottle, and a 40oz stainless steel water bottle safely and securely.
The Upcycle Cage won’t rust in the rain with stainless steel construction. It is lined with leather so there is no scratching metal-on-metal contact with your water bottle. Moreover, the UpCycle Cage has a nearly universal bicycle fit - it mounts to the water bottle bosses that come standard on nearly all bicycle frames. It will also ship with security screws, which require a specialty driver bit (included) for installation and removal, to prevent theft.
I created this design when I was given the unique opportunity to turn trash into treasure with a box of factory-rejected bottles from Klean Kanteen. I use my Klean Kanteens daily, both the 40oz water bottle I carry with me everywhere and the 16oz thermos I use for my coffee. I wanted to create a cage that would allow me to carry them both on my bicycle, at any time.
Made from upcycled, factory-rejected Klean Kanteen bottles and Walnut’s high quality hand-dyed vegetable-tanned leather. We originally launched this design on Kickstarter in 2015 as a fundraiser and during a recent move uncovered a hidden stash of upcycled bottles to make new batches.

Mounts on the standard water bottle braze-ons that come standard on virtually all bicycle frames. Simply unscrew the hex screws and screw them in with the cage.
The UpCycle Cage is approximately 6.5" tall and expandable in diameter to fit bottle sizes ranging from at least 9" (22.5cm) to 11.5" (29.5cm) in circumference. It fits all Klean Kanteens except for the half-gallon 64oz growler. With 2 adjustable belts, it can also fit unevenly-shaped bottles like wine bottles.
