What Is Yacht (Yatzy)?

Yacht is the original public domain version of the game that was introduced by Milton-Bradley in the 1950's as the trademarked Yahtzee® game. Versions of this game have been played for generations worldwide, and are also known as the variations Yatzy, Generala, Poker Dice, and Cheerio.

Yacht can be played with any number of players (2+): all you need is five (5) dice and scoresheets.

There are some slight scoring differences between original Yacht and the trademark Yahtzee® game on the scorecards but we enjoy this version more!
