Attaches with a long belt that threads through your seat rail or saddle eyelets. Comes with a second attachment point with a leather cord to help secure the bag to the stem, which is optional (the belt-and-suspenders technique). We have tied the optional cord around the seat post or through the springs of a sprung saddle, but it can be used in any way that makes the most sense on your bike. For extra security, you can thread a zip tie through the second string holes as a theft deterrent.

I love the look of this bag — a little retro and stands out from the millions of lookalike under-saddle bags. The color matches my Brooks honey saddle and Walnut Studiolo honey laced bar wrap. Also, people recognize my bike (and me) because of it. Does a great job of holding my repair kit, tube(s) and CO2 cartridge(s). Over time with use, weight of my repair supplies, and weather abuse (rain),however, it began to sag and lose its round shape. I have had to put a stick of wood across the top on the inside with the strap wrapped around it to provide needed support. Also, the strap broke and had to be replaced. I now have it reinforced with zip ties around the seat rails.
I love the look of this bag. My bike is still a work in progress, and this bag gave my bike an instant aesthetic upgrade. My only issue is the way it attaches. There are a total of 4 large holes at the top of the bag for the strap to weave through. I like the moderate security this system offers (it’s not the easiest thing to remove), but it’s not the greatest in adverse weather. I got caught in a downpour on my way home from work a few days ago and got home with the bag holding some water at the bottom. Just something to be aware of when purchasing. Overall, I love this bag and still gave a well deserved 5 stars.
