How we're celebrating 5 years with "Gimme 5!" Campaign

Walnut Studiolo is celebrating five years in business! Introducing the "Gimme 5!" campaign, a ten-month-long celebration of fives. We want to give the world a "virtual high five", to everyone who has supported us all these years and created a successful American-made, sustainably-managed family company.
To give you a palm-slapping "HIGH FIVE!", we'll be releasing five new products this year, one every other month, each accompanied by a video demonstrating our favorite high fives, and five giveaways. Read more on our campaign page: http://walnutstudiolo.com/pages/gimme5
Here's a short history of our company: Walnut Studiolo started business by opening a shop on Etsy on October 10, 2009. In that shop was a collection of a few product ideas that Geoff had made and tested out on his own bike: a leather u-lock holster, a small boxy leather saddle bag, leather city grips, and his innovative design, the leather shoulder portage strap. Two months later, we introduced ourselves to the world by assembling a card table at BikePortland.org's BikeCraft Fair, and we were on our way. In 2010, Geoff started working full-time on Walnut Studiolo, and in 2011 his wife Valerie joined him. In 2013, we hired our first employee, Matt. We still work out of our home, making all of our products by hand and shipping them world-wide.
