Drawer Pull Hardware Attachment Kits: Replacement Parts and DIY Assemblies
Many years ago we introduced a product listing for just the metal hardware pieces we've curated and assembled to attach leather handles and pulls to cabinet and door surfaces.
This listing is meant as a customer service courtesy for our leather handle customers:
- To install our leather loop and strap pulls flat with a second point of connection: for our Fremont and Hawthorne leather drawer pulls.
- Back-up or replacement set of lost hardware
- To exchange or mix-and-match metal finishes
About the Washers in Our Hardware Kits
Since we launched our leather drawer pull hardware collection in 2012, we have always included (optional) leather washers with our handles and pulls.
Many like the finished, layered look of the added halo of metal around the Chicago screw, and it can create more friction and bulk.
However, washers are not strictly necessary and some customers prefer the clean, "button" look of having no washers.
Between COVID supply issues and tariff headaches, we recognize that omitting washers are a great way to shave costs too, particularly for large orders.
We recommend the kits with washers for straps of at least 1" wide. Some of our leather handles and pulls don't have the "real estate" available for washers, because the straps are too narrow or the spacing is too skinny. These include:
- The Flanders
- The Lovejoy
- The Morrison
- The St. Johns

For ordering replacement kits, these are our guides to which of our leather handles uses which kits and in what quantity:
A) With Washers:
- Fremont: 1 per handle
- Hawthorne (all sizes): 1 per handle
- Sellwood (all sizes): 2 per handle
- Tilikum (all sizes): 2 per handle
B) Without Washers:
- Flanders (all sizes): 2 per handle
- Fremont: 1 per handle
