We've updated our Drawer Pull Hardware Kits to fit a wider range of door, drawer, and cabinet thicknesses, right out of the box. All of our leather handles now fit surfaces 1/2" to 1-1/2" thick.

How It Works: Illustrated Hardware Connection
As shown in the illustration above and photographs below, our drawer pull hardware kits consist of:
- A Chicago screw (a surfaceless head with internal threading)
- An (optional) washer
- Several different threaded machine screws that fit from the back side through holes in the cabinet surface, leather handle strap, and optional washer, and screw into the Chicago screw
To make this kit fit the widest range of cabinet and door surface thicknesses, we shortened the Chicago screw and increased the number and variety of back screws to cover more installation situations.
Together, these changes increase the range of surfaces that fit our handles right out of the box, to 0.5" (12.7mm) to 1.5" (38.1mm) thick.
This handy new illustration will now be printed on the instructions for easier installation and contractor communications!
Our drawer pull hardware kits are available in 3 metal finishes: Nickel, Brass, and Black.

Hardware for Doors Thicker than 1.5" (38mm)
Sometimes customers are working with a door thicker than 1.5" - this is particularly the case for exterior doors which are often 2" thick.
We have an easy solution: back screws available for thicker doors are available for substitution upon request. Just ask us, or leave us a note in the "Order Notes" box during checkout (we read every note!).
