In the past 10 years or so, maker-made items have become more readily available thanks in large part to sales sites like Etsy, and we think that's pretty exciting. Makers have been making for as long as humans have been around. Not only because "makers gonna make" but also because people need a variety of items for everyday use and pleasure.
Here atWalnut Studiolo, we are driven to create items by hand because we are dedicated to quality and compelled by innovation. It's important that we oversee every step in the process of creating our products. Geoff Franklin knows when a stitch is pulled tightly enough because he feels it. Valerie knows when there is enough padding around a package being shipped out because she is handling it so carefully.
We care about you and your every order, and to us that is what the Maker Made movement is truly all about.
The number of mass-produced products on the market is endless, but what is the transaction like when you purchase those products? How well do they last over time? What do the edges feel like? Do you know the maker's inspiration? These aspects of items you purchase are meaningful to us, and we try to give you an outstanding experience every time.
We make beautiful products for everyday or occasional use that are crafted to withstand the rigors of a rugged, real life.
When you shop with us, we'll answer your questions, help you make a selection and share insight into how each product is made. We love to hear feedback from our customers. And if you're working on a special project, perhaps using our Leather Drawer Pulls or bicycle accessories, we always enjoy seeing the final result. We are so impressed by the creativity of our customers!
We're a family, we're real people and we love what we do. We look forward to carefully crafting our next products for you.
