Natural leather makes a perfect coaster material, absorbing the water from your glass condensation and protecting the table surface below. We make them completely natural, so they will gain a patina and darken in color with each water ring, the oils on your hands, regular use, and time.
In an unusual step, we decided not to emboss these with our logo. There are plenty of coasters on the market if you want to declare your brand affinity, but personally, we wanted just naturally beautiful leather on our coffee tables.
Made from leftover workshop leather pieces, these coasters are a completely up-cycled, recycled product.

LEATHER: Your Walnut Studiolo product uses natural, vegetable-tanned leather and will not look exactly as pictured here. Real, natural leather carries is a natural material, so every hide has unique characteristics that individually personalize each product. Just as no two fingerprints are alike, each piece of leather is distinctive in its color, grain, and markings, which may include scars, mars, or blemishes that are a natural part of the cow's life and a sign of the high quality of the leather we use.

DIMENSIONS: Approximately 3.25" (~82 mm) in diameter and 1/8" (~3 mm) thick.
WEIGHT: Each coaster weighs approximately 0.4 oz (~11 g).
MONOGRAMMING: Yes! This item can be monogrammed with up to 3 characters. Monogramming can add up to 2 weeks to the turnaround time. Monogram font only available as shown in on this picture of a monogrammed blueprint tube, in 1/2" size. We do not have numbers or special characters in our fontset like "&" although we can make a "*" or "+" or "."
